Arts and Crafts

Shloka Recitation

Children will learn, understand and memorize important shlokas from Bhagavad Gita.

Numerous surveys have also confirmed that a child without a spiritual basis to his life easily falls prey to bad habits. A spiritually trained and guided child, on the other hand, is well equipped to counter harmful influences and confidently faces the stresses and tensions of modern life.

Therefore, Bhagavad Gita Class for Children can help responsible parents in raising their children by offering systematic and scientific practical training in spiritual culture and wisdom.

To accomplish this, a wide range of activities are conducted including...

  • Shloka recitation from Srimad Bhagavatam and Srimad Bhagavad Gita
  • Shloka memorization through pictorial representation
  • Scriptural storytelling in groups
  • Teaching philosophy through examples from scriptures
  • Extempore speeches and Debates
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Dance, Dramas and Skits
  • Group Presentations
  • Fun Games
  • Music / Singing (Kirtan)

As a result, children develop the ability to distinguish right from wrong by applying scriptural knowledge from the very tender age. This will enable them to take the right decisions even later in life. In the process, children also develop many virtues and soft skills such as humility, patience, truthfulness and integrity, kindness and empathy towards others, managing relationships, cleanliness, emotional awareness, positive attitude and self confidence, focus and self control, critical thinking and communication.
